Have you considered the LCAudio suggestion for a crossover? I did a MTM with this (the two-way version of the crossover) and it is quite nice... I used Scan-Speak 8545 mid and 9500 tweeters in a transmission line enclosure. CFAC inductors. Crossover at about 2KHz.I have not yet done A/B test with any other nice speakers, but human voices from Chesky CDs sound very natural. Base is also good. Good recordings sound good.
Resolving yet the highs are a bit recesed, so they are not fatiguing at all... Still, the setup is quite revealing to the quality of all components and the recording.
Sensitivity is above 90dB as my 2-3 watt SET drives them OK for the most part.
