Moke,Try moving the DAC and at least one source to a different circuit in your house (ie: another room). If the problem stops, then you know you need more power conditioning your current circuit due to noise from some other appliance. If it still persists, it still could be noise from something else on your power-line, but most likely you have a problem in the DAC.
Question: As you've already explained it happens with every source... each on separate inputs? Coax or Optical? Do you live in an industrial park? j/k...
