Follow up. I have a little information. I tried a Quiet cord $210.00 Basically it is a cap and diode system. It totally shut down the amp hum. Nothing. However, I am running about a $16,000 system and you can hear the sonic degradation. A band aid and not a great one. I also tried an Isotek Syncro cord $1750.00. Wow. Amazing. Totally killed the hum and no degradation in sound. Actually, it provided a slight smoothing of the vocals and cleaned up a little harshness from the amp. I felt I had one of the best listening sessions I ever had since I built the stereo. Not an inexpensive fix. Had to return the demo. I have not tried the PurePower1500+ yet. Thinking about it, but not sure if I need to sample another item, use the Isotek or just sell the amp, and get something that won't hum in my house. Anyhow, just thought you might want to know, caps and diodes work but have some affect on sound. The Isotek cord is also a 86UF cap, but did not alter the sound in any negative way (IMOP).
