Hi guys
I would like to upgrade my caps on the output of my Music Angel Preamp. Currently they ERO MKT1813. I was thinking about using some Obbligato Gold Premium Capacitors, are these a suitable replacement?
I would also like advice on replacing the pot with a stepped attenuator. When I measure the pot without disconnecting, it reads 75k at max. There are no markings on the pot that can be easly read, as a ground wire has been soldered just were the markings are. Therefore If I replace it with a 100k will that be ok?. It is a cheap looking pot looking at the construction.
I have tried to find a schematic for the Music Angel pre - but all I could find was Version 1&2. I can see that this is different as the output caps are rated at 6.8uf so therefore I guess this it has undergone an upgrade since they were issued. (it is new)
Many thanks
Regards
