reasoning does not constitute data.After all soldering temperatures can exceed 700 F so that adds another 600 degrees or so above room temperature.
Since freezing in home freezers rarely exceed -40 you are making assumptions comparing a change of 110 degrees (to room temperature) or so to a change of 600. If a 110 degree change can make a difference, why not a 600 degree change?
