Sorry if I confused you with my wording in the post. I did not mean wiring in the home, or up to the components... I meant mounting the fuse/circuit breaker inside the component. As I have already alluded to, I have a 2 amp high quality circuit breaker inside my Oppo BDP-83SE Blu-Ray player, and it works great (better than the stock 2 amp fuse)! It uses a fuse with leads, so you can't really substitute one of the audiophile units in the player. Saw the circuit breaker idea at Jena Labs website and implemented it on my own player. Then I tried a very good 12 amp circuit breaker in my precision modified DNA-1 Deluxe amplifier. It sounded much worse than the 10 amp Furutech fuse that was installed previously... more opaque, less focused, less bass impact, less PRAT, etc. However, I thought that because of the build and toughness of a circuit breaker, someone would have developed one for audio.
