Thanks to a short length of the new solid core pure silver Pulsar Ag coaxial cable (not to be confused with the original copper Pulsar Cu coaxial cable) that I've installed to wire the S/PDIF digital output jack of my CD transport:
As compared to what indeed seems to have been a problematic 75 ohm impedance issue due to a twisted pair of 20 AWG solid core silver/PTFE Teflon wire that I replaced with Pulsar Ag cable, I've now come to find that the CD transport presents (not so subtle in audiophile terms) better image outlines, inner detail, low-level spatial cues, and ambient information retrieval. In a nutshell, there's simply a more vivid soundstage. While it's not gob-smacking in effect, the sonic betterment is not unlike a veil lifting window washing. The resulting improvement of signal seems to convey a better sense of all things digital for my DAC to convert into the most important aspect of PRAT just as well as analytically pleasing audiophiliac listening cues ;-D
BTW, the VH Audio Pulsar Ag bulk length coaxial cable can be ordered in fractions of a meter length for DIY wiring by entering the desired decimal within the "Enter Quantity" order amount:
