I have found that a single type of crystal always colors the sound. When using pure quartz the sound is bleached with less blackness. It's just bright all over. Everything moves to the surface which makes it sound flat and lifeless with a narrow soundstage. The quartz needs to be blended with other minerals to get neutral sound with more extension and depth, it's extremely complex and can only be made with trial and error. It will take thousands of hours of experimentation to make something that is musically pleasing without any weaknesses.
When using minerals opposite of pure quartz everything becomes too warm, blurry and flat, the soundstage is narrowed down as well. Mixing the opposite minerals together won't work because there will be loss of information and blurry midrange. When finding the correct formula the soundstage becomes huge and spaceous with clear silky smoothness and maximum microdetail and transparency.
Crystals are definitely the power conditioners of the future because they don't emit EMI like AC powered devices do. I have replaced all my PS Audio and Acoustic Revive power conditioners with crystal formulas.
