The breaker rating does not determine the load on a circuit. That is the amount of current draw that it will trip at. You could have one device or 5 on a 15 amp circuit, the breaker will only open when it exceeds 15 amps of current.
Your surge protector should be fine there as it's purpose is to prevent voltage spikes.
