There are many places that these crystal devices work. Not all work great, not all crystals work in all places. So it's experimentation by ear that pays off.
Sometimes just placing them tells you within a minute or so. Other times you won't know the real effect for days, but in most cases I think you'll hear some of the sonic impact and its tonality within a couple of minutes to 20 minutes. Be aware that these things needs days to weeks to properly settle into place, so after day one, you might not like the sound at all as it changes back and forth for up to a week. Be patiend.
Here's a list of places to try:
1) Any of the wire bundles in or out of your main breaker box.
2) Around the main wall outlet feeding your system (on the outlet, beside the outlet, or on the plugs).
3) Above and below the transformers in your units - all of them.
4) On the plugs of your power cords, and/or in the middle of them.
5) Inside the bodies of your power plugs.
Hell, just take the baggies, one at a time, and plop them on top of your CDP or your amp for easy starters. You'll know....
