Googling George Cardas for ad copy on his products doesn't interest me. I don't have anything against brass connectors per se.
As an aside, I do find it funny that most audiophiles avoid nickel plated connectors like the plague only to find it under the silver/gold/rhodium that they're hypnotized by. ???
I do like the Vampire/WBT/Dayton locking connectors but don't use them anymore. They are high mass and add to the cable's overal capacitance and lower resolution, IMO.
The Swichcraft and Rean connectors I mentioned in the OP's identical thread on the CA are, again, low mass, copper alloy, gold plated, low capacitance connectors. They are equal if not superior in quality of material/plating/strain relief and sound.
My point is you don't have to spend $79 or use only audiophile approved rca connectors to achieve good sound.
