I thought that adding the GEs on the amp end just delivered a bit more of what the first pair on the speaker end did: more transparency and more presence, mostly. When my main system is complete, I’ll order two more pairs for that rig. In this case, two are better than one, but I wouldn’t characterize the improvements as dramatic—but they are audible.
