MAESTRO AC OUTLETS (UPDATE)

Well, these maestro outlets are starting to settle-in good now and they sound Damn Good! Comparing my porter ports to these new maestro outlets the porter ports sounds closed-in and Flat sounding in my system. The porter ports are not as clean or as clear. The porter ports are also bloated in the low end when compared to the maestro outlets too. On complex musical passages with the porter ports in my system I find myself turning the volume down more....much more! Now with the maestro outlets in my system the Trasparency of these outlets are truely amazing and I'm hopping this will improve more and more as time goes by! The soundstage is wider and deeper and there is more upper frequency air too. These maestro outlets also have a lower noise floor that allows more suble cues to come through more. These maestro outlets also have better separation of individual instruments and vocals....more natural sounding more REAL! I think the non-plated maestro outlets gives you a much more direct sound than non-plated porter ports because the maestro outlets have a higher quality copper content. My vintage sansui sp-5500 horn speakers just completely disappears now and I have a very entry level system too. Marantz pm-7001 integrated amp and matching marantz cd player, DH Labs power plus power cables, very cheap copper interconnects from wal-mart, Synergistic Research alpha quad active speaker cables.
