external crossover isolation

I need some help choosing materials to isolate an external crossover box that will be resting on the pedestal of a modded Magnepan MMG.

The components will be strapped on ¼” pegboard with plastic wire ties, maybe some teflon tape as insulation between. This assembly will weigh about 5 pounds.

This will float in an oversized MDF box, with damping material on the bottom, sides, and top. The additional weight of the box is around 8 pounds or more, depending on what damping material I use.

So I’m looking for recommendations for the inside fill, also some low profile feet, to place under the box. I was considering quartz sand for the fill, but now think something less messy would be better, such as polyfil or cotton?

I have some “unhappy” rubber balls that I could use for the feet, but would require a bit of work to install them, looking for a low profile (height wise) isolation foot that can be stuck or screwed on, which would be much easier. So what’s the isolation de jour?

Thanks
John
