Been there and done that. While the PPP may be light years ahead or not to the PP300 I used to have, the dedicated line I put in is definetly light years ahead of the PP300 in making my system sound better. The PP products from PSA are basically UPS systems without a battery and while they do and should work in removing some nasties on the power line, they are not what is known in the industry as a "stiff" or "infinite" bus. They are current limited and most likely cannot produce enough current when needed most. A dedicated line when properly implemented will have reduced impedance, reduced RF and reduced noise from switching transients and other feedback from connected devices and is almost an infinite bus.
