RE: I need help with a speaker crossover?

Have you tried running the system with just one amp. Sometimes when you have one amp seeing just the woofer (inductor in series) and another seeing the midrange and tweeter there is a problem. Check the phasing on the woofer first off. DO NOT change crossover's-a first order is excellent and you need to find out where the problem is. (it is also simple to trouble shoot.) My speakers are a 3 way first order crosover with the crossover mounted external to the speakers which will simplfy trouble shoting. If you can, disconnect the mid and tweeters and get the woofer working. You did use impedence compenstation of the woofer? This is a resister and capacitor in parallel with the driver. If not, that can be the problem. Do a search for Ist order impedence compenstation and you will find many places on the net. Usually it is a 8 ohm resistor in parallel with 10-and up UF capacitiors. PS-you are taking that woofer up very high-not sure if it has any response up there.
