Hammond 193L choke and balanced power

A buddy gave me two of these to play around with and while I didn't like the results with it preceeding the balanced power conditioner and the AC regenerator in the main rig, I was thinking about trying it on the isolated digital outlets on the balanced power unit.
The only components plugged into the isolated balanced power digital outlets are the MPC's that power the active shielding on my SR power cables. My question is has anybody tried it and what were the results and would there be any theoretical benefits or drawbacks by using the choke on balanced power or would it just be "gilding the lily"?
