I made a DIY motor assembly and would like to house the IEC jack

and electrical block and switch inside a wooden box. I figured I'd put lead shot into the box to weigh it down so everything stayed in place and I could easily push the on/off switch without moving it.

What is the best and easiest way to cover the electrical connections. I know lead is a very poor conductor, yet does conduct some. I would simply fill the entire box with the shot, but felt I should put SOMETHING over the exposed connections.

I was thinking of something as easy as Play-dough? Any ideas?
