Yes, it accepts both. But

Make sure you do not start using 20 amp products in a line that is rated from your breaker for only the usual 15 amps! That might be seen as a fire hazard.

As long as it's only you plugging what you understand into that receptacle you'd be all right. I do the same here at my place with my 20 amp R1 and 15 amp circuitry and audio rig.
