Hi,
Unless you have run through the Transistor's data sheet very well and found something equivalent. The modern Transistors are significant wider bandwidth, faster and higher gain; you need to Miller compensate your amp accordingly.
Else you are introducing insufficient Phase / Gain margin (remember Bode Plot) and risk instability / Oscillation that can destruct the amplifier.
