Very tempting, since they are conservatively rated and of high quality.

However, the X2 rating is as much about what happens if they fail, and it is this that qualifies it for mains use.

Since a dead short failure would only put the R in series with the load .... which could then catch fire, of course!

Any professional assessor would ignore that, of course - no published rating; don't use it!
