In Reply to: RE: Informal poll: For those who mark the edges of their CDs, do you use water-based or non-WB markers? posted by Winston Smith on February 16, 2010 at 14:51:51:
Thanks much for the very detailed response, Winston. It was quite helpful. I just ordered some Sanford water-based markers, and I’ll see how they work out. I have Sharpie’d discs from 15 years ago that still play perfectly, but, still, I’ve grown increasingly cautious when it comes to these things. On a side note, do you marker your collectible discs, like gold CDs, imports, etc.? I’m thinking of doing it to some, but I don’t want to drastically affect resale value. Thanks again. I like your posts too! (FWIW, I don’t live in an exceedingly humid environment—Michigan.)
This is a public service announcement . . . WITH GUITARS!!!
