Make sure the new electrical panel ground rod measures less than 5 ohms resistance to a known reference ground- lower is better, but returns in performance are much more expensive if it requires 3x 30 foot parallel cad welded rods for 2 ohms resistance vs one 8 foot ground rod if the difference can not be heard sonically and likely would not make a difference.
Use nothing less than #6 ground conductor size from the panel to the ground rod. Be careful of the 120 volt branch circuits in a parallel run for many feet with other wiring distribution secondary branch circuits. The capacitance coupling of other parallel runs can emit some noise into the dedicated circuits for your music room. I would make use of 20 ampere circuits with #12 gage romex wire. I would use circuit breaker positions closest to the main circuit breaker in the panel & use same 120 volt side (not 240 volts across the hot wires as measured from one circuit to the second circuit). I would also keep the ground wire as close to the #6 ground rod as possible.
A power conditioner can add benefits at the outlet side. It all depends upon how quiet the circuits perform.
Although my advise is minimal, it does not hurt to place every detail in your favor.
BTW- a bag of crystals tied to the secondary circuits or ground rod wire will not improve the low noise factor or other off the wall 'black magic' suggestions.
