calling Al Sekela: AC isolation query

Al, any help would be appreciated on the following:

My main panel in the house feeds a sub-panel (called sub-panel A).

Sub-panel A feeds all circuits in my basement (TV room, exercise room, water heater (40A)).

Sub-panel A also feeds (via a 30 amp circuit breaker) another sub-panel (called sub-panel B) that is used for my dedicated audio circuits.

I am wondering if sub-panel B is truly isolating my audio outlets from the rest of the house. While each dedicated audio outlet is fed by a dedicated circuit in sub-panel B, it appears to me (a simpleton in this regard) that the sub-panel B shares the same ground and neutral line as sub-panel A and the main panel.

So, is there any isolation in my current configuration for the audio outlets? If not, what is a good way to provide isolation for my dedicate audio outlets? I am not adversed to DIY, as long as its not too complicated.

FYI: I also have installed (and subsequently removed) an isolation transformer. The sound improved when the transformer was removed. Also, the noise floor and a slight buzz/hum was reduced without the transformer. I still have the transformer, but not sure if I should reinstall or not.

Thoughts?
