I just removed 6 glued caps from my buddies Sira about 10 minutes ago - assuming you can get to the side of the cap, try sneaking a very sharp razor blade between the cap and chassis (or board) and gently slice the the joint between the two parts (some gentle prying with flat blade screwdriver may help as well). After removing the cap you can clean any excess glue away with either the razor blade or solvent. If the caps are electolytic with shrink-wrapped outer plastic jacket, simply slice the top of the plastic jacket releasing the metal can within, then disect the plastic jacket away from the board or chassis - or cut the plastic flush with board and hot glue new component over the top of the remaining plastic.
good luck with the new caps!
