Thanks Paul for the great review and this prompted me to order a Ref II to try. I've had it for 2 days now and first impression so far is a much better-than-exptected upgrade to the picture quality to my AV system--this is on top of one PE V/AC and 6 PE's. I'll hold off on the sound until it is fully burned-in.
