After having it hard-wired into my Hotbox powering my tube VAC monoblocks, it is slowly disappearing and letting the music flow naturally through my amps. By the way, the male plug makes all the difference in the overall neutrality and easy flow of the music in Alan's cord. Believe it or not, the cheaper Wattgate 5266i, with tangs cleaned, polished, and a thin coat of QSG applied, is the best choice. This Wattgate makes the power cord sing much better than all the Oyaides, Hubbells, Furutechs etc. YMMV and IMHO. Oh, and Alan must have similar listening preferences to my own as he is now using the Wattgate 5266i and 320 in his newest Reference power cord line. Another great example of not always the most expensive sounding the best. Yes, in this case, less is more. Happy Listening. (o:
