thanks for the answer. i am being obtuse here, and want to make sure i am understanding what you are saying. i'm going to try this a slightly different way.
original configuration of the power supply is: (4 terminals A-D)
A +12v line 1
B Gnd line 1
C +12v line 2
D gnd line 2
so, you are saying if i connect them, as-is, in series connecting B to C, then i will have +/- 12v by using A as +12, b-c as gnd, and D as -12v?
(guess my stumbling block is that the -12v line will not be coming off the regulator in the line 2 circuit.
New config-- putting -12v reg and flipping bridge on "line 2"
A +12v line 1
B Gnd line 1
C -12v line 2
D gnd line 2
for this one, i would connect B to D, and use it as gnd, and A for +12 and C for -12v?
does that make sense?
which would be better?
