guys ,
currently reworking the +/-16.5v PS rails of the preamp in my againg rotel amp.Just doing the usual caps replacemnt with better quality ones and better decoupling.
While i'm here, i was just wondering if it would be worthwhile to upgrade the existing zener diode to something else...something better that would contribute to a better supply in conjunction with the caps upgrade...
There are 2 zeners and they are :
RD16E - planar type 16v 500mw

Could someone kindly suggest a more robust replacement for this pls.
