I, too, have been experimenting with QR-8's lately. Here is where my 8 went with nice results:
- on lower part of tweeter mounting plate (2)
- back panel of DacMagic (1)
- IEC of power cable going into Esoteric X-03SE CDP and CDP back panel (2)
- armboard of LP12 (1)
- back panel of Densen Phono stage (1)
- Wall power outlet plate (1)

Where they didn't quite work well (too rounded/polite sounding):

- other parts of the tweeter panel and on one of the woofer screw
- arm pivot
- additional ones on DacMagic
- additional ones on back of CDP
