I suggest that you forward your question to Jensen transformers. They are the leading company in impedance matching / line input transformers and their technical advice is excellent.
Expect to spend about $150-200 for a couple of transformers.
The Jensen web site has detailed schematics for line input transformers. They are not difficult to implement, if you use a metal box and follow strictly the grounding connectios suggested in the schematics.
600:600 tranformers are incompatible with your requirements. You probably need 10K:600 ohms: have high input impedance, low output impedance and a 4:1 signal attenuation.
