I upgraded my P-300 and it was harsh at first. It was worth it. I kept standard multiwave as my gear has always sounded best w/ the sine wave setting @120hz. If I lose power it switches back to 60hz and I can always tell; the image is smaller and there is less detail. I only like regenrators on sources and the total current draw should be half the units capability for headroom IMO. Don't count on the usage readout for accuracy. Paul has said this many times. Also the new units aren't balanced right? I couldn't live w/o mine.
