I can't agree with replacing all fuses every six months. If this is true, how often should we replace voice coils, or other small guage conductors.

I would like to know if anyone has replaced or bypassed the fuse and fuse holder with an equivalent rated circuit breaker. And would the circuit breaker perform like a slow blow or a fast blow fuse?

I did try the silver fuses compared to the copper and preferred the copper.I suppose it would be similar to whether a silver power cord sounds better on a particular component rather than a copper one.
