Hi.
I paid 8.70 for say a 2x100K dual pot.
In fact, ALPS built plants all over the world besides Japan. In China, there are a least four huge plants building micro TACT switches, TV tuners, & front end RF data communication gears . Only one plant in China dedicated for the low-tech switches, like what we audio DIYers are using.
