someone might have experience in general relation with damping such a small power supply unit weather it was in some way beneficial or not. I'd rather not waste the piece you know? Worst that happens is I stick it on, don't like it and can't get it off or find it a net gain of zero and have wasted it where I may have been able to offer it to someone else who could have used it in a more successfully application.
