Yourn local Bryston dealer is mistaken- Bryston does not sell the MPS2 directly. They will upgrade the BP 25 to BP26, including new front and rear panels, knobs, and internal wiring, for cdn$600, after my order for the MPS 2(at a list price of cdn $1400) through an autherised dealer is confirmed.
Puts a whole new light on the matter, as with the trade of the BP25 the BP26 would be 2300 or 2400 dollars, as opposed to 2000 +shipping two ways for the upgrade.
