I don't know how much difference there is in volume levels or if you feel you must have exact matching of levels. That said, when I had a similar discrepancy between my sources, I got things nicely in the ballpark by using a pair of Rothmans 10db attenuators ($60.) Nothing could be simpler and I noticed no sonic degradation at all.
