The AD827 is the nicest sounding dual opamp for the price. If cost is not so much a consideration, then two OPA627's mounted on an adapter is the next step up. FYI - there is quite a bit of information in this forum regarding DIY improvements to the Link DAC. I've been tinkering with one for the last year and have found it quite easy to work on.
