Any Ideas For Helping The Sound Of This Room

Hello all, we just installed wood flooring which replace wall to wall carpet, the sound was very good. The bass has not been affected due to room size, but the mids and highs are not right, i have a mid sixty Hz +13db boost in the bass. I have removed all of the corner traps but the back far corners. This helped the upper mids and highs. If you can tell from the pics the right side of the room is open to a hall and foyer. and the right back side is open also, there is a mirror on the back of that hall about 6 feet behind right speaker. Not seen in the picture is the left side which has french doors. The back has a open dining area and a galley kitchen. The cathedral ceiling is 19 feet long of the whole 20X30 room including the dining and kitchen. i got the wifes OK to put heavy backed drapes on the french doors that push all the way past the doors when not listening to music, they helped. I have some fiberglass panels 2X4 by 4 in thick coming. plan on putting two on back wall that comes down from the cathedral ceiling with a tapestry in front of them. Experiment with some behind the speakers. I have removed the bass traps as they made no difference that i could tell. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mike
