Ah ha........with Sinewave/117VAC/60hz selected on the user interface panel, you should measure 58.5VAC from the Earth/safety GND connection to each of the Hot and Neutral vertical slots respectively and you should measure 117VAC across the Hot and Neutral slots.
I know that older generations of Power Plants had this problem and U may be able to increase the sinewave voltage via the user interface panel enough to get you 58.5VAC/117VAC out.
Also, PS Audio will send you a new rev. of chipsets that correct for this problem, most likely for free. I had the same exact issue with my early rev. of chipsets in my P600 and they sent me the new rev. chipsets for free.
The low output voltage on the P300 would explain why the Unidisk is not powering up since it uses the auto voltage sense in the power supply.
