::p::: This is what happened to me when I tried it, it got damp and started to skip on my Marantz CD5000, also I noted that it heated up fast due to convective cooling(spinning at 500rpm average I guess)-so I still don't get it. I even thought about setting the whole cd player in the fridge freezer to keep the whole thing cold-and playing it from there ,but, then I got a grip on myself. I guess this tweak was not meant for me, or it is not valid. When not skipping it seemed to sound the same. ::p:::
