this freezing cd business is pretty interesting as i read about this a few years back in a respectable british hi fi mag. the mag didnt give any data or evaluative methods used to determine if this did help. but i tried it out..and i couldnt tell a difference. my only worry was, like the other posters, condensation damaging the transport and the lens. even if it did work, i dont think i would have liked my 600 odd cds sharing space with last night's chicken marsala.
