Yeah, I thought the Spec and Hospital grade Hubbells used the same contacts. I just got a Krell FPB-600 (big enough?) and have often seen Krell and users recommend a dedicated 30 amp circuit, even though the detachable IEC is a 20 amp type and the plug end is a standard 15A 125V type. I may go for a 40 amp circuit given my box configuration and make my own cord terminated in a 20 amp female IEC (I don't want to take apart this amp since I've just started the five year warranty).Keep us informed about the PS Power Plant, as I'd like something better for my low level gear than my Tice Power Block II/Titan II combo. I'm sort of leary about the sine wave synthesizing circuits, as I have a 160A Liebert UPS unit at work to run the electron microscope and HPLC gear. I put a scope on the output and it had a fair amount of high order harmonics.
