I cannot find a discussion of this subject anywhere, so I turn to any technically astute inmates who would be kind enough to reply.
If two drivers are connected in parallel, how are the Zobel network values calculated, and how is the Zobel connected? Does one use the resistance and inductance of the individual drivers divided by two and connect a single Zobel across both drivers in parallel, or does one use the individual driver values and connect a Zobel across each driver?
Two drivers, each with 5.6 ohm minimum imp and 0.6 mH ind, in parallel = 2.8 ohm imp and 0.3 mH ind. Build one Zobel from these parallel values and connect across both paralleled drivers?
OR
Same drivers, two Zobel's, one per driver, using 5.6 ohm and 0.6 mH values, connected across each driver, then both drivers and their Zobels paralleled?
Peace,
Tom E
