The differences in the capacitor values are only about 8% in this case - on the order of the component tolerances. In theory, you should be lowering the cutoff frequency by using larger capacitors, so more sound (a bigger proportion of the total signal) may be getting through the HF tranducers producing what is percieved as a brighter sound. Most likely what you are hearing is differences due to the capacitor properties themselves. Give them a few weeks to break in before you make any additional adjustments.
