A month or more for me. I don't have the Ultimo, but have 4 orig SWO-XXX. HF issues were never present with mine, however if I woulda cranked up my sytem loud some HF issues mighta been there...For most new pieces of gear i've owned it seems like the HF issues are what 'mellows out' during the burning period. The bass is usually there, but over time it gets more articulate & tuneful.
I also have a Furu FI-15 cu outlet, it was sweet and warm right out of the box.
