I have heard the same about CREE (SiC), but also about IR (Si) schottky.
If I think in wich one is better in cost/benefit, I will go for the CREE (4A/600V),$47US dollars on parts connexion and $62 US dollars, on RS Chile (far better than UK hificollective or others, also they do not charge the shipping cost and delivery is to my home) for the IR 10CTQ150 (10A/150V). But I'm thinkin in get the best sounding, so I'm able to burn a little more money if worth.
Any other comments about this pair?
