I've used th 1" size and it's perfect for most applications that are not excessively heavy (weight matters to all elastomers and air bladders, you know). They are superior to any other isolation material I've used so far.I used squash balls under my sub until I found that coupling worked better there. This is the air bladder version of isolation.
I used Superballs before the dead balls under components and there is absolutely no comparison with the improvement of the dead balls over the supers. Dead balls win by a mile.
I've used some Herbie's Audio Labs smaller pieces and that material works well too, but have not compared with the dead balls.
FYI, I've read that Norsorex is used to damp/isolate electron microscopes, so that should tell you just how very well it works in its applications to vibrations.
