I think their damping qualities are superb under heavy items. I was using Superballs/bouncy balls extensively before, but like these (the material is called "Norsorex") much better. Never tried Navcom. Don't like sorbothane at all. Have cut some in half, but it's not real easy. I do wish someone would produce them in cube shapes or something other than spheres, but not at "audiophile" prices.
