I asked recently here about bass traps. I was told by a number of seemingly well informed inmates that you need a minimun of 4 and likely more bass traps to be effective or you will just skew the frequency response but not solve the problem. This can get to be rather expensive,not to say visually intrusive.
I would try doing other things-mainly moving speakers and or vibration control first
